ZenCha - Cha Sen Traditional Matcha Bamboo Whisk Pengaduk Teh Matcha
Description
ZenCha Chasen (Traditional Matcha Bamboo Whisk)
The ZenCha Chasen is a traditional bamboo whisk used to prepare matcha for tea ceremonies and other formal occasions. Each whisk is handmade from high-quality Golden Bamboo, ensuring flexibility, durability, and an authentic matcha preparation experience.
How to Use
Before use, soak the chasen in warm water (approximately 30 seconds before boiling temperature) for about 2 minutes. This helps soften the bamboo prongs and prevents them from becoming too stiff during whisking.
Place matcha powder into a bowl (preferably a matcha bowl or similar shape), then add water according to your preference.
Whisk the matcha using quick circular motions or a “W” or “M” motion until the powder is fully dissolved and a smooth foam forms on the surface.
After use, rinse the chasen thoroughly under running water.
Let it dry in an upright position with the prongs facing downward. It is recommended to store it on a Chasen Stand (Whisk Holder) to help maintain its shape.
