How to Use
The Rika 5000 is a New Cerax-type soaking whetstone. Because of its high grit level, it is recommended to wet the surface with water rather than fully soaking it. The stone’s fine pores absorb water quickly, and prolonged soaking may cause cracking. Splash water on the surface until it no longer absorbs before sharpening.
Maintenance
If the performance decreases or the surface appears clogged with steel particles, clean the whetstone using a rust eraser, the included Nagura stone, a dressing stone, or a flattening plate. Always clean and level the surface completely to achieve the best sharpening results.
