Brand Overview
Toushu is a kitchen knife line produced by Fuji Cutlery, the parent company of the well-known Tojiro brand. Now available in Indonesia, Toushu carries the same DNA of Japanese craftsmanship and quality while being designed as a durable, practical, and reliable everyday kitchen knife.
Knife Overview
The Toushu Santoku 165mm is an all-purpose Japanese chef’s knife, crafted for versatility in slicing vegetables, meat, and fish. Forged from Solid Molybdenum Vanadium Steel, the blade offers a balance of sharpness, toughness, and corrosion resistance. This steel is renowned for its durability, allowing the knife to hold its edge for longer while remaining easy to sharpen when needed.
The knife features a monosteel construction with a double bevel grind, making it suitable for both right- and left-handed users. Its slim 1.5mm spine thickness and broad 48mm heel height provide precision, control, and smooth food separation during cutting.
The handle is made from Magnolia wood with a plastic ferrule, crafted in a traditional Wa-style (Japanese) octagonal shape for a natural, comfortable grip. Lightweight at just 135 grams, it ensures excellent balance and maneuverability for both home cooks and professionals.
