This Deba knife is crafted with a Shirogami (White Paper) Steel core, clad with soft iron. The soft outer cladding allows for easy sharpening, while the hard Shirogami core ensures long-lasting sharpness.
The handle is made from Japanese Magnolia wood with a resin collar, known for its excellent water resistance and comfortable grip. Designed with a single bevel edge, this knife is ideal for traditional Japanese cooking, especially for handling fish.
