Description
Sakai Takayuki Gyuto 210mm – Model No. 7395
Description:
Sakai Takayuki is one of the most renowned names among knife enthusiasts and collectors. Founded in Sakai (Osaka), the brand carries more than 600 years of knife-making history. Since the 16th century, Sakai Takayuki has been producing knives, originally created for cutting and trimming tobacco in the Sakai region. Itsuo Doi, one of the most famous blacksmiths of the brand, was the grandson of the legendary Keijiro Doi.
This medium-sized Gyuto (Chef’s Knife) combines high performance with excellent value in its class. It is favored by users who want the versatility of a Gyuto but prefer a slightly smaller size. Like all Sakai Takayuki knives, it is solidly constructed and beautifully designed with 33-layer Damascus steel, a hammered finish, and a rich brown pakkawood handle.
The handle is crafted from Spanish Mahogany Pakkawood, resin-infused with epoxy for strength, moisture resistance, and long-lasting durability. Its smooth finish and refined color provide both comfort and elegance.
