Japanese Knife Misono MV Fluted Gyuto 210mm Made in Japan
Description
Misono – Japan’s Oldest Western-Handle Knife Maker
Founded in 1935, Misono began as a small family-owned company making sharp kitchen tools such as vegetable peelers. By the late 1960s, the brand shifted its focus to high-quality kitchen knives and has since become Japan’s oldest maker of Western-handle knives.
Despite its international reputation, Misono remains a boutique-scale workshop with only around 50 craftsmen, producing approximately 150,000 knives per year. Each knife is crafted entirely in-house—nothing is outsourced—allowing for strict quality control and meticulous inspection of every single piece.
