Japanese Knife Nigara Hamono VG10 Damascus Kiritsuke Gyuto 210mm

Nigara Hamono - With a 350-year history, starting with knife-making for the Tsugru clan in the early Edo period, the knowledge and skills of knife-making have been passed down through eight generations. Kunitoshi Nigara, the fifth generation knife-maker, is renowned as a legendary sword maker and has won numerous awards. Now the eighth generation knife-maker is Tsuyoshi Yoshizawa, assisted by his father, Toshiju Yoshizawa, who has a passion for art and music. Nigara's famous Anmon design is the result of Toshiju's love of Andy Warhol's works. Because of his knowledge and steel-working skills, Nigara is renowned as one of the best knife-makers in Japan.
