Upscale Living x Konosuke-Sakai HD2 Series

Upscale Living has partnered with Konosuke-Sakai to introduce the exclusive HD2 series. The right side of the blade is engraved with the Indonesian flag and the kanji "インドネシア", meaning Indonesia.

First Impression: The HD2 knife feels perfectly balanced—not too light, not too heavy—and comes with an incredibly sharp edge straight out of the box.

The HD2 series is part of the Laser Sakai collection by Konosuke, known for being exceptionally well-crafted, durable, and made with semi-stainless mono steel, which offers fantastic performance. The semi-stainless steel is also very easy to maintain, while the thin edge makes for a highly enjoyable cutting experience.

In 2011, Konosuke introduced the original HD series made from a limited batch of semi-stainless steel. The popularity of these knives led Konosuke to run out of the material. Now, with the HD2 series, Konosuke uses the same premium semi-stainless steel, ensuring excellent edge retention and easy maintenance. However, the material remains in limited supply, so once it's gone, production of these knives will cease.
