Japanese Knife Konosuke HD2 Monosteel Gyuto 240mm
Description
Upscale Living x Konosuke-Sakai HD2 Series
Upscale Living has partnered with Konosuke-Sakai to bring you the exclusive HD2 series. The right side of the blade is engraved with the Indonesian flag and the kanji "インドネシア", meaning Indonesia.
First Impression: The HD2 knife offers the perfect weight—not too light, not too heavy—and comes with an impressively sharp edge straight out of the box.
The HD2 series is part of Konosuke's Laser Sakai collection, known for being exceptionally well-crafted, durable, and made with semi-stainless mono steel, which delivers outstanding performance. This semi-stainless steel is also easy to maintain, and the thin edge enhances the cutting experience, making each slice a smooth and effortless action.
In 2011, Konosuke released the original HD series made from limited batches of semi-stainless steel. The knives gained so much popularity that they ran out of materials to produce more. Now, Konosuke has released the HD2 series, using the same premium semi-stainless steel, offering ease of maintenance and excellent edge retention. However, the availability of this semi-stainless steel is still very limited, so once it's gone, these knives will no longer be made.
