Japanese Artisan Knife Naohito Myojin Shisaragi Shirogami#2 Sakimaru Yanagi 330mm
Description
Myojin Riki Sesakusho – 320mm Yanagiba
Myojin is an exceptionally talented sharpener with over 10 years of experience in the knife industry. Throughout his career, he has also trained as a blacksmith—an experience he believes deepens his understanding of sharpening at the highest level. Since joining Konosuke in late 2016, Myojin has consistently impressed the team with his remarkable sharpening skill, relentless drive for improvement, and extraordinary productivity.
His final iteration of the FM Fujiyama was so refined that even Morihiro—the legendary craftsman behind the original Fujiyama—praised it and declared that Myojin was ready to carry the mantle forward. During his time with Konosuke, Myojin has been responsible for sharpening the MM Series, FM Fujiyama, and the newly released Tetsujin line, created in collaboration with his longtime friend and blacksmith, Tetsu.
We are also proud to introduce a new feature exclusive to knives sharpened by Myojin: his personal “kokuin” stamp. From now on, all Konosuke knives finished by Myojin will bear this mark, allowing collectors and enthusiasts worldwide to easily identify his exceptional craftsmanship.
