Description
Myojin Riki Sesakusho – 290mm Yanagiba
This knife is fully crafted, ground, and sharpened by Naohito Myojin, a young master sharpener who is widely regarded as one of the best in Japan today. With over a decade of experience, Myojin is not only an exceptional sharpener but is also trained as a blacksmith — a combination that gives his work remarkable precision, balance, and character.
Since joining Konosuke in late 2016, Myojin has been admired for his dedication, consistent improvement, and outstanding productivity. He has worked on several iconic lines such as the MM Series, FM Fujiyama, and the Tetsujin line (produced together with his longtime friend and blacksmith, Tetsu). Even Morihiro himself, the legendary craftsman behind the original Fujiyama, praised Myojin’s final iteration of the FM Fujiyama and declared him ready to carry the mantle forward.
All knives sharpened by Myojin now come with his personal “kokuin” stamp, giving collectors and fans around the world a clear way to identify his exceptional craftsmanship.
