Description
Masakage Zero Petty / All-Purpose Small Knife
The Masakage Zero line represents the pinnacle of high-performance knives, combining outstanding sharpness with pure elegance. Each knife captivates at first glance, featuring an ironwood handle—one of the hardest woods in the world—embellished with a mosaic chrysanthemum pattern. Every knife is personally sharpened and finished by Shibata Takayuki, the owner of Masakage.
The blade is made from Shirogami #2 (High Carbon Steel), prized for its laser-sharp edge and durability. Its outer cladding is stainless steel with a Nashiji finish, offering both visual beauty and corrosion resistance. All knives are forged by Master Blacksmith Yoshimi Kato in Takefu Knife Village.
