Fujin VG10 Dama Rosewood Octagon Santoku
Description
Kurosaki Fujin VG-10 Santoku is a handcrafted Japanese santoku knife renowned for its performance, beauty, and exceptional craftsmanship.
The blade features a VG-10 stainless steel core, clad with stainless Damascus steel, offering excellent rust resistance, durability, and long-lasting sharpness. VG-10 is one of the most widely used steels in Japanese kitchen knives, valued for its balance of high hardness and toughness without being brittle. It is ideal for regular kitchen use and is easy to maintain and sharpen.
This double-beveled Santoku showcases Kurosaki’s signature Fujin hammered (tsuchime) pattern, which enhances both aesthetics and food release. The blade is exceptionally thin, evenly ground, and manually sharpened without thickened areas, making resharpening smooth and effortless.
Each knife is entirely hand-forged by master bladesmith Yu Kurosaki, making every piece truly unique.
