The Atoma Economy #140 Diamond Plate by Tsuboman is the economical and efficient choice for heavy-duty sharpening tasks. Unlike traditional whetstones or ceramic stones, diamond plates do not wear down, dish, or require flattening over time. They also don’t need water for use, making them simple and maintenance-free.

This refill version is designed as a replacement plate for the standard Atoma diamond stone that already has an aluminum base. The #140 grit surface is extra coarse, making it ideal for aggressive steel removal, repairing chipped blades, or flattening high spots on sharpening stones.

Each Atoma plate is made using Tsuboman’s patented dispersion technique, which prevents clogging and ensures fast, consistent cutting performance throughout the plate’s lifespan.
